Pride Factor Launches Online Academy to Inspire and Guide South African Youth

Pride Factor, the life-skills academy founded in 2014 to ‘Inspire Young Minds’, is proud to announce the launch of its Online Academy to guide teenagers and young adults on how to achieve successful careers and fulfilling lifestyles.

Using the feedback received from thousands of surveys completed at approximately 90 live events where more than 45 000 people have been inspired to improve their quality of life, Pride Factor has developed a modern approach to education that provides a state-of-the-art, rewards-based E-learning platform aimed primarily at improving the quality of life for young people all over Africa.

Consisting of online life-skills, work-readiness and entrepreneurship courses designed to equip young people with the tools and guidelines required to find jobs or start their own businesses, each episode consists of a short explanatory video clip presented by experts in their field along with a thought-provoking task and links to supporting information.

Current courses include:

Academy Courses Sponsored for Over 220 Students

Pride Factor is delighted to announce that more than 220 students already have access to the Academy courses thanks to generous sponsorship from companies, NGO’s and individuals who are passionate about addressing the problems of unemployment, poverty and inequality in Africa.

The bulk of the funding to date has been donated by Learn To Trade and the Greg Secker Foundation whose founder and CEO aims to provide young people, regardless of their background, with practical life strategies and emotional development tools.

Additional funds were kindly contributed by Juan Botha (Events Chameleon), Anna Shilina (Empanna Properties), Babsy Shilubane (Daughters of Destiny), Linda Liquorish (The Rock), Edward Martin and Dr Norman Cahi (Cahi Dental Practitioners).
