Role Models Motivate Teenagers to ‘Gear Up For Greatness’

Test Pilots Receive Free Membership to Pride Factor Academy

More than 60 teenagers and young adults were encouraged to ‘Gear Up For Greatness’ by aspirational role models and motivational speakers at a workshop presented by the Pride Factor life skills academy at the Sci-Bono Discovery Centre in Johannesburg last weekend.

Speakers Alexandra May, Sibusiso Molimi and Nkateko Emily Mabasa recounted their inspirational personal experiences while Pride Factor MD Dene Botha MC’d the event and ensured everyone was participated through thought-provoking tasks that were rewarded with valuable prizes.

After a break for lunch, the audience was introduced to Pride Factor’s Online Membership Portal where those who sign up as members will be able to access information and guidance on how to acquire the vital skills required to enhance their quality of life.

These include everything from goal setting and planning to study and travel options, how to get a job and steps to starting your own business. Gold members are also provided with Pride Factor bank card and instructions on how to start earning income from the day it is activated!

The audience then enthusiastically participated in an online survey on their reactions to the Membership Portal before being informed that they ere the original ‘test pilots’ for the programme and will each be awarded a Gold Membership when the system goes live at the start if the December holidays.

The results of the survey will be published once they have been collated and analysed.
